Most of the server you get either its dedicated or shared hosting, it will have all the prerequisite you need to install.

Since all the servers these days comes with Apache + MySQL + PHP preinstalled, you dont need to use the one bundled with the viteger. Infact the the bundeled mysql + apache are real pains.

Uncompress the entire gz file in the directory (Vhost or or the top level) and visit the site. There is nothing more to do.
